Basic diner atmosphere with very attentive host and wait staff. Best split pea soup ever! Will order it whenever it's available. Nice variety on the menu and reasonable prices.
Delicious breakfast, lunch, and dinner for cheap! Our server was very kind and attentive. We were seated right away. Our food came out fast. I got the dairyland skillet with sausage and cheddar cheese with scrambled eggs and toast. My partner got a burger with fries and chicken noodle soup. Everything was yummy! They had great looks pies as well in a display case. We didn’t get any as we were too full after our meal. I will definitely be back!
Classic family restaurant. Much more reasonable prices compared to a downtown option - before tip was upper 20's for two big entrees and a coffee. We had the Dariyland Skillet and French Toast Club Breakfast.
Great little family restaurant. Large menu selection. They have liver and onions which my friend ordered and I was able to try for the first time in my life. Sorry I didn't take any pictures. It wasn't appropriate for the occasion. our waitress was very friendly and attentive and prompt. The food arrived quickly and hot. It was nice and quiet for a good conversation. I will definitely go there again.
A classic greasy spoon done right! Dairyland is a true gem in Madison. I came in for breakfast and left full and happy. The portions are generous, the coffee is strong and no-nonsense, and the service is warm and welcoming. It’s exactly what a great mom & pop diner should be—unpretentious, comforting, and delicious. I’ll definitely be back!
I have been coming here for breakfast/brunch with my family for as long as I can remember! The food has never disappointed! The skillets are amazing and the pricing is terrific for the quantity! The staff is also very friendly and makes you feel at home! I always invite people to this place and I have never had anyone leave unhappy! I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for some affordable, delicious mom & pops breakfast!
Breakfast this morning was phenomenal! Was greeted and shown to a table and our waitress came over quickly to greet us with cups of ice water. I loved that. I had banana french toast and it was absolute perfection. I also had a biscuit and it was better than any I have ever had before.. my coffee was brought out on a saucer. Another nice touch. I hope to go one more time before I head home to TN
